Meet the Founder
Ladawana Crawford is a board certified, doctorally prepared Family Nurse Practitioner with over 24 years of experience in the nursing field, including over 10 years as a family nurse practitioner. One common thread she's observed is the need for more attentive and compassionate care in the healthcare field.
Ladawana is deeply committed to active listening and treating each patient as if they were family. She believes that truly understanding her patients' concerns, values, and goals is essential to providing exceptional care. By fostering an environment of trust and open communication, Ladawana ensures that her patients feel heard, respected, and supported. Her approach is rooted in compassion and empathy, allowing her to build strong, meaningful relationships with those she serves. By providing attentive care, she aims to encourage patients to take an active role in their health and well-being.
Originally from Gary, Indiana, Ladawana relocated to the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area in 2010 and quickly developed a deep appreciation for the region. Ladawana is deeply passionate about promoting healthy living, weight management, and empowering nurses and nurse practitioners to reach their highest potential. She is dedicated to helping others lead fulfilling lives. Beyond her professional pursuits, she enjoys engaging in activities such as acting and theater, hiking, exercise, reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.
